With his experience as an A-license coach and former promotion manager at Tibhar, he understands the sport down to the last detail.

His son Lukas Kurfer, who knows table tennis inside out, was among the top 16 in Germany as an elite student of the sport in Saarbrücken. Since then, he has established himself as an experienced player in the regional league and is a fixture there. Through his years of experience at the highest amateur level, he has developed an exceptional understanding of the game, which he passes on as a coach with a background in physiotherapy.
